Submissions
The 2012 Mile High Horror Festival is now open for submissions!
The festival will take place October 5-7, 2012 at the Denver FilmCenter/Colfax.
We are an IMDb qualifying Festival, which means that all films in consideration will receive an invitation to create a title page on the Internet Movie Database!
This festival is three days of fun, parties, panels, events, and most importantly independent horror films.
Submission categories include Feature Length Films, Short Films, Local Colorado Films, and Animations!
2012 Submission Deadlines:
Earlybird Deadline: April 15th, 2012
Regular Deadline: May 31st, 2012
Late Deadline: July 15th, 2012
WAB Extended Deadline: August 5th, 2012
Our selection process is democratic in nature and voted on individually by members of our selection committee. Our diverse committee is made up of people from various ages and backgrounds including a horror film professor, an author in the horror genre, and a few avid horror film fans.

Films accepted into the Mile High Horror Film Festival will then be voted on by celebrity judges and by the audience as to which ones receive awards.
Our 2012 celebrity judges will be announced soon. Our 2011 judges included:

The Best Short Film of the 2011 Mile High Horror Film Festival was invited to be shown on

The screenwriter of the winning feature film at the 2011 Mile High Horror Film Festival was offered an InkTip Prize Package from
